Barn Manager, Riding/School Coordinator

Katie has been working with horses for over fifteen years. She is a certified History/French teacher, but has put teaching on hold to pursue her dream of working and owning her own farm. Katie has had the pleasure of working for numerous coaches and farms all over Ontario. She currently shows and competes as an amateur in the Jumpers and Hunters. In November 2015, Katie and Bacardi successfully placed in the top ten at the Royal Winter Fair in the Adult Amateur division. She continues to show and train in the Hunters and Jumpers.  In 2018 Katie gave up her amateur status and has recently become the head coach for Innisfree Equestrian.

Katie takes pride in the excellent equine care that she provides at Innisfree Equestrian. She manages every aspect of horse care from veterinary and farrier visits to overall horse management. She lives on site, and has a wealth of knowledge into the areas of herd health, nutrition and breeding. Boarders are pleased with Katie's ability to work with them to create individual programs for their horses. She strives to give all boarders and horses' one-on-one care. Katie cares for each boarded horse as if it were her own!
